At the Library Bar we create special menus taking inspiration from different facets of the literary world. For Highball and Wellington Cocktail week we have chosen cocktails to highlight famous plays.
Juliet and Romeo
Cucumber and elderflower infused Reid & Reid gin, lemon juice, saline tears, sugar, egg white and bittersweet poisoned Elemental Bitters. Served up.
The Phantom of the Opera*
WCF cacao husk infused cognac, Six Barrel hibiscus syrup, Persian bitters and sparkling wine. Served up with a Libertine rose scented mask.
Negroni barrel aged vodka, calvados, apple juice and fresh lime with Gunpowder Rum dark berry and apple sorbet. Served tall.
Cat on a hot tin roof
Rye whisky, Southern Comfort, Mississippi BBQ bitters, sugar, mint and capers. Served down over ice.
Lewis Road Creamery Kahlua cream liqueur, crème de cacao, pineapple lump syrup, pimento bitters and shaved chocolate. Served up with choc ganache and brownie.
